Andrea Castiglioni is an Italian multi-instrumentalist, producer and sound designer.
Passionate about film and video game soundtracks, over the years he has created music for theater shows, interactive websites and theme tunes for podcasts.

Ambient Guitar works is a collection of acoustic and electric guitar tracks created in the 2016/2019 period.
Most of these songs are improvisations, all recorded with the Zoom H5.
I used the loop station to record simple riffs and sound carpets, I also used my delay and reverb pedals, but above all, I freed the emotions I felt in that moment, I let them flow through the fingers that ran over the strings on my guitar.

Thanks to Emiliano (I Low You records) for giving me the opportunity to collect these old tracks that perhaps had remained closed in the drawer for too long. I wanted to arrange the tracks on this album from oldest to most recent, to make the listener understand my creative evolution and my slow, but constant, improvement in the beautiful and delicate art of recording a song.
Some of them are creations for projects I worked on, others, as I was saying, are real improvisations, recorded in one take, inspired by places, people, memories and feelings.

This album is dedicated to my family.
